Results and Cassey's Pre-Birthday Celebrations

Hey people!!!I am back blogging!!Hahaha..Been busy with OGL training these few weeks and also with cabaling...Hahaha...Anyway,received our results on 19/3/2008...I am so glad for my results that neither did i fail any modules or even scored a D in any module...But likewise, i am disappointed that i did not score my A for my Protein Tech...Thats the damn sad part, coz i really put in alot of effort in that module...If ur wondering what i got:

Medical Microbiology:- C+ (I thought i can get a B for this module...)

Molecular Genetics:- C (No comments)

Bioinformatics:- C

(LOL?I thought i would get a D for this module as i screwed up in CT)

Protein Technology:- B+ (I expected an A for it!!!Dammit...)

Immunology:- B (Happy with this grade...Though a B+ would look better!)

Bio Process Tech:- C

(WTF..I PASSED?!?I thought i would fail this module sia..Sem exam is shit)

Marketing 2 :-B (Expected this result...But was hoping to get a B+ or B)

Anyway, i know my results are really sucky, but to me, its an attempt of improvement...My grades compared to all the sem, this sem result is one of the best...My gpa increased as well, not much but there is improvements...

Next up, Cassey's pre-birthday celebrations !

Well, yesterday met up with all the guys except jun jie who is working and WYD who says he is tired...I cant blame wyd, he is SHAGGED after all of the SCL exco stuff...Hahaha...Also, there was Cai Yu, Candice and the birthday princesses, Cassey! Thats make it 3Cs...Haha...LOL...Well, i met Hafiz, Min Feng and Ayyub earlier on in the morning around 11am to settle the OGLs and CMs shirts...So when we reached there, we were talking to the boss regarding the details of the T-shirts and Polo Dry Fit Shirts...For the CMs, our shirt was supposed to be dry fit, but, if the girls were to wear them, i think there will be a free parade of "see through"...I think u guys know what i am trying to say...So i wont explain much...After settling the shirts, Hafiz and Min Feng went off first as Min Feng have a flight to Korea at 11pm...So Ayyub and I went to the coffee shop to settle our lunch and we talked and got to know each other better!

After that we left for our own ways and i took the train from Payah Lebar to Somerset to meet Candice to get Cassey's present...As Cai Yu would be a little late,the 2 of us went to go look for the present first...So we went to the basement to get the Hereen Discount Card...Then Candice lead the way to the shop where she said Cassey commented once that she liked the pyjamas...So we waiting for Cai Yu to come to decided which ones to get...So one was selected and we discovered that we have like close to 4 hours to spare before meeting the rest!!Sorry for meeting u guys so earlier..My apologies!!

After some rotting for 3 hrs, we went to some shop in taka to shop for a birthday card and we wrote our wishes on the card...After that we went down to bugis to meet the rest...We waited and we waited for the rest to come...Until everyone arrived except the birthday girl!Haha...So we waited another 10 mins for her to arrive...After that we made our way to Arab St to have our dinner in one of the open aired restaurant...The food there is very very good esp the Shish Kerbab!Its arabian food...So if ur wondering how it taste like, its a bit like western sauce + malay curry sauce...And the result is extremely nice!!Hahaha....After all the eating and talking, the Sheesha came...As it was Cassey's birthday, the Sheesha was passed to her first and that ah lian ah (she's gonna kill me if she reads this), after a first few tries, let out the smoke from her nose sia!Hahaha...While she was doing one of again, the birthday cake came!So we sang the happy birthday song and pieces of the cake was passed around...The cake was superb ah...Its like chocolate with those agar look again slides inside...Really well done!!The Sheesha was passed around and i would like to apologise those who had to withstand the smoke smell, esp nic!Poor guy got smoked going to him time to time...If ur wondering how Sheesha taste like, it have a flavour in it and from what Sadha told me there is no nicotine or tar in it, but all of us being scientist would more or less know that taking in something into ur lungs and exhaling out smoke is usually not good for ur lungs...But this is like long long one time thing so we juz tried...After all the Sheesha-ing, we left around 11.30pm because we want to catch the last train!Hahah...Then we rushed here and there to get home...Darren,Nic and I went to the bus stop outside the AMK MRT and i waited for their bus to come before walking home...So end of Story!!The pictures will explain what went on during the dinner!

One of the Best Experiences-VTEC

Hey people...As u all might have guessed the reason why i did not blog is because i was busy playing cabal these few weeks...Lets get the ball rolling on the updates over the past few weeks!

LTC
No, its not Lieutenant Colonel but rather Leadership Training Camp....So this camp was the same as last year juz that a few familiar faces were no longer seen and and also the energy level was not as high as last year...However, i would like to say that this camp is very successful and the campers had ALOT of fun!!So good job Regina!!Way to go!
To make the story short, bascially i was in the CMs group again with Augustine acting as OGL...So i was on duty for the telematch, night walk, morning PT and the amazing race...During the duty, i saw alot of laughters from different groups and the determination in some...I would like to comment regarding the PT since i have more to talk about...Well,during the PT, the warming up, stretches were done in the track...After that it was the jumping jacks...I actually wanted to only make the campers do a little bit to get the blood flowing and waking up some of them who were probably still half asleep....However, after the 2nd set of 4 counts of 4, i realise that they can actually work together...So i decided to try something, but letting them do 8 count of 8 (Sorry Meena, i did not know it was torturing as some of them were laughing and counting OUT LOUD!!!)Then they still managed to end together...Next i reveal my te-kan part...Doing the 8 counts of 8 in silence meaning no counting by anyone...They failed the first attempt but finished it beautifully during the 2nd attempt...I would like to say GOOD JOB to ALL of U!!U have juz done around 280 + jumping jacks!!!Next was Valene's part...In this part of the PT, the campers have to run pass 4 stations around the track with different words and a mixture of the 4 words was given to them...While running past or going to approach these stations, the campers have to shout out the word together as a whole group...So this means the Cms in the front and back will do the pacing,in the middle will be doing the allignment and lastly, a counter to shout 1,2,3 before shouting the word...I was amazed by some of them as they were struggling but they did not give up...I applaude for ur determination!I was running with them and timing their run and reminding them of their time...I did not realise i was exercising coz the spirit to do it was really high!So what the heck lah, juz run...They failed altogether 3 attempts with the CMs as they have to do the task under 5 mins...Next, Valene pulled out the Cms and allowed the campers to reorganise themselves... This process seriously made the campers with leadership quality shine...Seriously...U can see it straight away...This time, they failed 2 times but clocking in a few secs more than 5 mins but it showed their determination!And finally they completed the challenge with the 3rd attempt!!Good Job guys!! Thats all for the updating for the LTC...Lets move on to the pictures and the 2 video!! *Hint, one of them u will see WYD DANCING INSIDE!!LOL!

Next was the OGL training which was held on the 11th and 12th of March...The training itself was great and the excos did a good job at that...We also had alot of fun!!On the first day (11th), we were suppose to introduce ourselves and know the rest of the OGLs better and after the session, i knew alot more yr 1s...Hahaha...I also teamed up with Aida who is going to be my partner for the FO!!We were suppose to like sell the colour that was given to us indicated on a piece of paper...So we did a brainstorm on the colour Michael Jackson Black...It was hilarious yet fun...On the 2nd day, we were suppose to come out with our own cheer and we did it...With our theme as MUSTANGS, our cheer was associated with it...I did a little thinking regarding the cheer and i talked to the rest of the OGLs regarding it and it came out quite nice!After the cheer, when i went back home, my voice was 70% gone liao...Coz the day before the 1st day of training, i had fever...And on the 1st day of training i had a terrible swollen right eye and my throat was really painful...So after the 2nd day cheer, my voice was gone lah...Hahaha...And Valene and Regina,i dun mind being the MUSTANG King!LOL...I juz pray for my voice to come back ASAP...The pictures are below!

Anyway, thats all from the OGL training...Next....VTEC!!!!!!!!Hahaha...So basically

yesterday Syafiq picked me up from my house carpark before scaring off some people crossing the road with ROAR of the engine...We made our way to hougang then sengkang....On the way, Syafiq opened VTEC a couple of times...The kick in the posterior end is gay!!!Hahaha...It might only be an SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) but its enough to kick ass!!!All of u might think a 92 Civic ESI is so called a "lao pok chia" but trust me a few prudes on the accelerator and u will feel the kick in the back...How do i know?Hehehehehehe...Use ur imagination....So basically i did what i will normally do with a civic, take pictures and the try out the redline...Did i mention the sound?It was horribly loud...And for ur info, only the throttle body is changed...Imagine changing the air filter to a K&N open pod and 4-1 extractors with 2 inch exhaust...Its gonna be so FREAKING LOUD...For those who did not experience VTEC before, trust me, go try the feeling and kick of VTEC before u die...If not ur gonna regret!!!Hahaha....Juz to let u guys know how fast a "lao pok chia" 92 civic ESI is, i uploaded a video below...It might be a bit blur but it clocked 0-100kn/h in 7 secs or less...Remember, the engine is completely stock and its only a 1600cc car...Imagine tuning it a bit more...It will be GAY!!Below are the pics and videos!!!!Enjoy!!
